Wet Mary or Zodiac Rebecca???

Last night, we were joined by an old bandmate of Angelo's, Darren from Wet Rebecca.  Darren had the opportunity to show off and take for a test drive a new tri-color Gibson Les Paul Custom that he just bought.  And it kicked some serious ass...

For kicks, we played some old WR tunes and just had a blast.  It's not very often that Darren gets the chance to open up and let loose with some really loud rock and roll, so it was a treat for him and a definite treat for us.  We played Shine and Sister Salvation, two songs that were originally written with WR but sound so much better here.  We also dicked around with Long Way Down, Electric Shadows, No Sunshine For Mary and Monkey See, Monkey Do.  Those songs sounded so powerful we just may decide to cover a few of them.  We hope Darren comes down again really soon.

We'll be off the next week but will resume the festivities on New Year's Day.  It's all just rehearsal but it's an outlet for us, to get in a room and blow our eardrums out.  That and the fact that it's time for some serious rehearsal because Adam and Billy are ready to start the recording process.  We still have quite a bit to do but we have to start somewhere.
